Late Arrival Policy

Due to time constraints it is imparative that class begins on time. We recommend arriving atleast 10 minutes early to class in order to proceed on time.

**A Note About Pottery Wheel Creations** Our pottery wheel classes are designed as a hands-on introduction to the art of throwing clay. While most participants create 1–2 pieces, the primary goal of the class is to learn, experiment, and enjoy the process of developing a new skill. As with all ceramic work, there is a small risk that pieces may crack, warp, or not survive the drying, glazing, or kiln-firing process. Clay can be unpredictable, and factors such as moisture levels, compression, wall thickness, and trapped air can occasionally lead to kiln casualties—even for experienced potters. While over 95% of pieces successfully make it through firing, finished pieces cannot be guaranteed. In the rare event that all of your pottery is lost during the process, we will provide a partial studio credit that can be used toward a pottery painting project from our shelves or applied to a future clay class so you can continue practicing your new skills. We encourage guests to view their finished pieces as a wonderful bonus to the experience—the real magic is getting your hands in the clay, learning something new, and discovering the joy of creating.

POLICY: Please note all deposits & tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable should you choose for someone to take your place. Please arrive on time as class begins promptly upon scheduled time. We will contact you via email in the event of a class cancellation. Reminder: This is a messy clay class, old/artists clothes are encouraged but aprons are readily available. Your piece will be fired and ready to paint roughly 2-3 weeks after class, the email you’ve listed above will be sent an email once they are ready for painting.
